People who come to Executive Yachts Ltd. for boating education and training are usually safety conscious - they want to improve their boating skills and be safe on the water.

They want to know where their existing skill set fits into the Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) programs.

The CYA allows people to challenge any of their tests, either the theory or the practical on-the-water examinations.

Like seafarers all over the world, the CYA provides logbooks which outline the complete training program and which also serve to show levels of achievement as students progress.
